To make the most of Rethinkable, it is essential to curate your profile to make it look as impressive as possible. We have designed your profiles in a way that allows you to use it as a portfolio or a standalone web page for yourself as a job seeker, hirer, networker, learner, or simply to have something appealing to look at!
Profile customisation
After you have set up your profile, we strongly recommend that you customise it before you start applying to jobs. It is important to note that while we allow you to submit a cover letter and resume, it is likely that a hiring manager will also view your Rethinkable profile.
What you can edit:
Status - i.e. Open to networking.
Profile picture - Your image.
Background image - Your background.
Short bio - A brief text shown on network pages.
Country - Where you are currently located.
About you - A long text describing yourself.
Work experience - Your current and past work history.
Skills - Any skills that you want to add.
Social profiles - Verified and unverified social profiles.
To edit your profile, simply visit your profile page and click on the 'Edit Profile' button. You can access your profile by clicking on your profile picture in the top right-hand corner.
Share your profile
If you are new to Rethinkable, you can share your profile on Twitter by clicking on the 'Share' button next to the 'Edit Profile' button. This can help you get your first few connections and/or reviews, and also expand our network.
Alternatively, you can copy your unique URL and share it with your colleagues and friends!

Profile settings
Privacy settings
Message privacy - only allow users that you have connected with to message you. We advise keeping this setting off if you are searching for a job, as hirers may not be connected to you.
Profile privacy - remove your profile from being found in the 'Explore' pages or Recommended sidebars so that it is only accessible via a direct URL.
Verified accounts
To receive the verified badge on your social profiles in your Rethinkable profile, you must verify them in settings. This will also enable you to log in to your Rethinkable account via these social profiles if you wish to do so in the future.
In the future, we will roll out a Verification tick. By pre-verifying your social profiles, it will streamline your eligibility to receive this status upgrade.
Email notifications
By default, you will be opted in to all of our email notification types. If you wish to unsubscribe from a certain type of email notification, you can do so in your email notification settings or through any automated email that you receive from us.

Review Notifications - receive email notifications for new reviews on your profil

FAQs
How can I reset my password?
Accounts do not have passwords; instead, you are required to log in via a Magic Link sent to your email or by using the method you used to create your account. If you have forgotten the method you used to create your account, please reach out to us on Discord.
What can I do if my account is lost of stolen?
In this case, please open a ticket in our Discord server or email our support email with proof of ownership of your original account. If we can confirm that you are the original owner, we will assist you in recovering it.
